The build up to the Christmas Fair at Crownwood school was hectic, new
makes, lots of firm favourites and some seasonal items all to be ready for the big day on the 7th December. The big day came quickly and support from family and friends was truly overwhelming.
9.30 am and we set off for the school with all of the items I was hoping to
show the world for the first time, I was more than a little nervous to say the
least.
We were greeted by the awesome team from the Crownwood school and shown to our tables, prime position just by the
entrance, WOW!
We set up the tables with all of items and then sat patiently waiting for
the first visitors to arrive! It felt like an age before we were given the signal that the doors were opening, but this was it!
The whole afternoon went so quickly with lots of people coming to view the
items and talk to me about what else I could potentially help them with. The most popular item from the day was the soft toy kits that I had made (Puppy, Kitten or Bunny), these are ideal for Christmas gifts as they
have everything you could need to make the kit from needle and thread to the toy stuffing and materials.
I also sold a number of Christmas related items which will also be available
to buy/order on the site in the “seasonal” section soon, including Christmas stockings and gift bags.
Totally exhausted by the end of the afternoon, I returned home for a nice cup of tea and to reflect on a great first ever fair.
I would like to say a massive thank you to all of those who came to the fair
to support Threaded With Love From Home and also to the team at Crownwood school for allowing me to take part.
Phew, now where are the biscuits!
