Behind the Needle

Threaded With Love From Home came to be out of the love of crafting as a hobby.   As an escape from the day-to-day, I enjoyed creating crafts for friends and family that met a need or just simply made them happy.

They were a huge hit and I received countless compliments from friends and family who encouraged me to consider making my hobby a business.  My ability to personalise an item for someone was what my friends and family explained was such a unique offering, that so many more people would also appreciate.

I also discovered that so many people wanted to learn how to craft, but that they hated the thought of following YouTube tutorials and investing in vast amounts of equipment.  I realised there were almost no kits on the market that included everything you would need to make an item – often you would be required to buy cotton, stuffing or needles separately – which certainly made making a one-off item more of an investment.  That’s where my courses, parties and kits evolved into the Threaded With Love From Home offering we have today.

Our philosophy

Creativity is intelligence having fun.” “Creativity is a wild mind and a disciplined eye.” “Creativity involves breaking out of established patterns in order to look at things in a different way.” “Creativity is seeing what everyone else has seen, and thinking what no one else has thought.”
